THT, Cable & Wire

Our THT, Cable & Wire department covers every step from preforming and preparing components to final soldering on the boards. A highly experienced team, combined with a well-equipped machine park, lets us handle the full spectrum — from simple wave-soldered boards to complex selective soldering and custom cable harnesses.

OVERVIEW

Every step in detail.

01

Preparing and mounting

Before placing components on the PCBs, all parts are checked against the Bill of Materials (BOM). Components are preformed and prepared by machine where possible, then sent to manual mounting on the boards. Every first stuffed PCB is inspected by our QC department before the run continues.

02

Wave soldering

The majority of our THT boards pass through our wave soldering machine — the Soltec Delta Wave 6622cc. The machine handles a wide range of board sizes and component configurations, providing consistent, high-throughput soldering for standard through-hole assemblies.

03

Selective soldering

For assemblies that cannot go through wave soldering — due to mixed technology, heat-sensitive components or tight pitch requirements — we use our Pillarhouse Jade MK II selective soldering machines. Single- and dual-point nozzle configurations allow precise, localized soldering without affecting surrounding components.

Hand soldering and touch-up

Specific operations and touch-up work are carried out by our experienced hand soldering team, equipped with JBC soldering and repair stations. All operators are trained to IPC-A-610 standards.

Cable & Wire assembly

Our C&W department is equipped for nearly every cable and wire requirement. Automatic cutting and stripping is handled by the Komax Kappa 310; crimping by the semi-automatic GLW MC25. We produce cable harnesses, terminated wires and assembled looms to customer specification.
